Jamie Dancer Kloin

Ms. Kloin is a graduate of the University of University of Miami School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Ms. Kloin has over a decade of experience representing private client and municipal clients in family issues as well as land development and municipal matters. She volunteers at the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project. Jamie resides in Montgomery County with her three children and dog.

Represented clients in all family matters, including drafting property settlement agreements and negotiating equitable distribution, child support, child custody and visitation terms. Successfully argued for child support modifications, parent relocation and for and against child visitation. Researched policy and law regarding protective orders and domestic violence in the context of a person incarcerated for domestic violence. Volunteered as a Child Advocate for the Montgomery Child Advocacy Program, representing children who are victims of abuse and neglect in Montgomery County.

Represented municipalities before local agencies and courts in employment, contract, zoning and land development matters. Attended municipal meetings, researching and providing legal advice to municipalities regarding employment, zoning and all other matters concerning the municipality. Researched and analyzed proposed and current laws to ensure municipality’s code and policies complied with current law.

Assisted private land developers in obtaining zoning relief before zoning hearing boards. Assisted private land developers through the Conditional Use and Land Development process. Obtained approval and zoning relief for billboard developers.

Presented courses on Right to Know Law, laws regulating billboards and drafting ordinances to withstand constitutional challenges.
