Biography
I joined High Swartz in 2016 as a result of a merger with McNamara, Bolla & Panzer, a firm I joined in 2012. I focus my practice on personal injury and workers’ compensation including Heart and Lung Act, Act 632/534 (special disability benefits for public safety personnel) issues.
Early in my career, I was an assistant district attorney in Doylestown with the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. I tried numerous felony cases and was one of two attorneys who supervised the impaneling and operation of the first investigating grand jury in the county’s history.
I then practiced law for 25 years in Philadelphia, 20 years as a partner in a personal injury law firm where I litigated negligence matters on behalf of plaintiffs. I consider it a privilege to represent the disabled and disadvantaged.
I have successfully tried scores of cases as a lawyer in Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Chester County, Delaware County, New Jersey and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. I also served as lead counsel for both the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 5 and the Pennsylvania Corrections Officers Association (PSCOA).
