Our client was a patron of a strip mall in Blue Springs, Missouri. As she was leaving one of the stores at night, her she stepped into a hard-to-see pothole on the asphalt area between the parking lot ... and the store entrance, and fell. She sustained a serious ankle sprain and wrenched her neck and back when her body fell to the ground. After pre-litigation negotiations failed, Shane was forced to file a lawsuit. During mediation, the case settled.
