Attorney Kelly represented me in a disability case. I signed papers for him to be able to get my medical records the day I signed to agree to how he got paid and hired him . Over a year later and days before my hearing 5 days to be exact he calls me to sign for him to get medical records . He couldn...'t find the paper from 15 months before. And swore he would have then in time . The day of the hearing he never informs me he didn't get them . The master was angry but asked in fairness to me how long did he need . Mr Kelly says 5 days . So she gave him 7 and low and behold he still didn't get them ! When I got my denial letter ! I call Mr. KELLY and ask what do I do.now and smart mouthed as could be says we aren't doing anything you lost ! Reapply for disability . I asked what about all the back money, what about all my savings are gone I haven't worked in over 3 years . He yells into the phone what about me I didn't make a f@$# ing dime for my time . That's when I told him he didn't open my file until 5 days before my hearing to find he lost the most important evidence of my case.. and cost me 10s if thousands in back pay . I reapplied on my own and asked to see disabilities Dr's. Saw them and 5 months later was awarded my disability with 1 months backpay . I wouldn't recommend Matt to give legal advise to anyone for any reason . Who is incompetent doesn't do there job and then blames the client ?
