John F. Kulick

I was born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, and, like my brothers, I grew up working in my familys landscaping and lawncare company.  I did this through high school and into college.  My parents raised their sons to understand hard work, and my experience doing physical labor as a young man paid off on my journey through college and Law School.

I attended the Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a  Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Crime, Law, and Justice.   I then moved on to law school at the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where I excelled academically, being placed on both the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. Additionally, I received a “Certificate of Merit” in his Probate Court Practice course for receiving the highest possible score on the final exam.

While  attending law school,  I interned with the Michigan Department of Attorney General in the Criminal Appellate Division, where I honed my research, writing, and advocacy skills to help Assistant Attorney Generals keep convicted felons in prison when they were eligible for appeal.   After my internship, I was asked by the head of the Division to return and continue assisting the office of the Attorney General.   I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge but ultimately decided it was time to head back to Northeastern Pennsylvania after gradutation from law school.

I am currently an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar and a participating member of the Luzerne County Bar Association.
