There were two issues on appeal. The first issue was whether a visiting judge who was appointed pursuant to local rule, as opposed to assignment by the presiding circuit court judge, was properly appoi ... nted and had the authority and jurisdiction to preside over the underlying case. The Supreme Court found that he did. The second issues was whether the trial court was required to include findings of fact pursuant to 452.375.2 RSMo. in its judgment when the parents disagree on any issue or sub-issue of custody. The Supreme Court held that it does.
