Identity of children in family law cases is not allowed. In this case, I tried a case to a Houston jury for custody of 3 children. The mother had a DWI and had left the children alone at midnight while ... she drove to get a bite at McDonald's. She passed out at the drive in window at McDonald's and was arrested. The father won custody after we tried the case for 3 days to the jury. At the end, the judge said that I tried the case as well as he could have and the court workers said my closing argument was WONDERFUL. I was very pleased with how the case turned out.
