OUTCOME: Client avoids felony conviction!

Client was charged with DUI, 3rd offense (felony) and refusing to give a breath or blood sample, 3rd offense. Client performed fair on field sobriety tests, but still made some mistakes. The police o ... fficer's stop of client's car was questionable. Using the weaknesses in the prosecutor's case, we successfully negotiated a plea agreement for misdemeanor DUI and refusal, 1st offense (non-criminal). Client still lost his license, but avoided a felony conviction and 90 days of mandatory jail time.

OUTCOME: CASE DISMISSED!

Client was charged with domestic assault and violating a protective order with regards to his wife. The police were the driving force behind the charges - client's wife did not want to prosecute. Aft ... er client hired us, we immediately contacted his wife and assisted her with hiring her own attorney. We appeared at court as a unified front against the prosecutor. The prosecutor had no choice but to dismiss all charges.

OUTCOME: Case dismissed after 6 months of probation!

Client had a history of mental health issues. Prior to this case, client was convicted of DUI and had 6 months of suspended jail time hanging over his head. Client had issues with his medication and ... started experiences symptoms of his mental health issues which caused some erratic behavior. Client was charged with trespassing, illegal possession of a gun, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Client was held without bond. First, we successfully argued for bond by convincing the prosecutor and judge that client was stable when on the right medication. Then, we successfully negotiated an plea agreement where client was required to do 6 months of probation and all charges would be dismissed. Additionally, client would not be violated on his suspended jail time from the DUI. This allowed client to received free mental health services and housing assistance.

OUTCOME: Client Gets Very Favorable Plea Deal

Client was indicted on three serious felony charges carrying a minimum of 11 years in prison and a maximum of 110 years in prison if convicted. The allegations included conspiracy charges covering the ... entire United States from California to Virginia. The police and the prosecutor investigated the case for over 10 months before charging the client. Negotiation started with the prosecutor offering the client several years in prison, and could not be talked down. After filing several pre-trial motions on client's behalf challenging jurisdiction and the indictment process, prosecutor agreed to several reduced charges and 12 months in jail.

OUTCOME: Prosecutor Dismisses Charges!

Client got into an argument with a family member and there was some pushing and shoving. The police were called and client was charged with domestic assault & battery. Client quickly hired our firm. ... We immediately started speaking to the prosecutor and got the family member involved as well. We pointed out how the police report was inaccurate and misleading and communicated to the prosecutor what the family member would actually testify to: not being assaulted. Prosecutor then dismissed the case before trial.

Client was charged with simple possession of marijuana, but worked in a profession where a conviction, or even a first offender program, would be fatal to his career. We attempted tirelessly to negoti ... ate with the prosecutor to reach some sort of informal disposition to avoid a conviction, but the prosecutor wouldn't budge. Knowing it was a constructive possession case (i.e. a case where multiple people had access to the marijuana), we decided to go to trial. After a hard fought case, client was pronounced not guilty by a judge.
