With the assistance of Mr. Simpson (who was interviewed by the local T.V. news outlet, News Channel 4, in connection with his efforts), the con man's attempt to avoid all liability for his actions through the bankruptcy process was defeated. With the assistance of Mr. Simpson, the defendant was subsequently convicted in state court for his actions.
