Two 15 year olds agree to have sex. Female later becomes angry at male and spreads the word around school and the neighborhood, that she was rapped by male. She never intended for the police to get in ... volved, but only to create animosity for the young man amongst his peers. Months later police were called and the prosecution was attempting to certify charges to try the 15 year old male as an adult based solely on a short statement to police by the 15 year old female. The prosecution was seeking to try this young man as an adult for which he was facing life in prison. Countless hours of case preparation and investigation into the true facts of this case led us to a posting on social media by the alleged victim. We believed this social media posting contradicted her story. Case went to Trial in Juvenile and Domestic Court and judge agreed with us. Case was Dismissed.
