I have lived in Allentown for virtually my entire life, having grown up here and gone through the Allentown public schools. I graduated from Cornell University with a BA in English, and from the University of Michigan Law School, with a JD, cum laude. At Michigan, I was an Assistant Editor of the Law Review. After graduation, I spent several years with a major Philadelphia law firm and then came back to Allentown, where I have been since 1970.
I am admitted to practice before the courts of Pennsylvania, the United States Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Claims, and the United States Supreme Court.
I am certified as a "Civil Trial Advocate" by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
In 2012, I was the recipient of the Lifetime Service Award from the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley. In 2014 I was elected President of the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley.
