Our founder and Managing Member, Edward Hoffman, Jr., is a Fellow in the College of Community Association Lawyers, a prestigious designation earned by less than 175 attorneys in the United States since it was established in 1993. Fellows of the College are among the most respected community association attorneys in the country for their legal skill and ethical standards.

Ed serves in a leadership role as the Chair of CAI’s Pennsylvania Legislative Action Committee and is a member of CAI’s Poconos Mountain Regional Council.

Ed is a prolific author and well-received speaker on community association topics and has been published and presented on community association law and related topics both regionally and nationally, including seven articles published in CAI’s national magazine, Common Ground, and having previously presented seven times at CAI’s national Community Association Law Seminar.

Ed represents and counsels homeowners associations, condominiums and planned communities on a full range of issues including litigation, governing document drafting, amendments and revisions, transition, covenant enforcement, assessment violations and collections. Ed regularly counsels associations on the proper use of social media, websites, technology and other cutting-edge issues and is a recognized authority on how “tech” issues impact community associations. Ed also practices insurance defense litigation exclusively on behalf of community associations to represent and defend associations against general liability and director and officer liability claims.
