Charles W. Gordon

Attorney Gordon provided us with a horrible experience. He took a high retainer from us ($10,000), did little to no work, did not keep in contact with us and didn't bill us at all during the course of 18 months. Mr. Gordon has a horrible understanding of basic law. He took our case which had no va...lidity in the state of PA (we were told that immediately by 2 other attorneys at later dates). Mr. Gordon never even worked on our case, he pushed us off onto an associate and never disclosed this to us. When we asked for our money back, he kept in excess of $3,000. When we tried to pursue it legally through Northampton's Fee Dispute Committee, we were informed that he doesn't even belong to the Northampton Bar Association. This man needs to retire and find a better way of making a living, he scams his clients by taking high amounts of money, sitting on his workload and then not returning most of the money. We would not recommend this "so-called" attorney to anyone!
