Oct 15, 2012OUTCOME: Department of Justice intervened in the case. The defendant paid in excess of $5 million to resolve the overcharges that resulted in FCA liability. In addition, CVS Caremark separately agreed to pay the Federal Trade Commission for deceptive practices.
