Henry R. Newton Jr.

Mr. Newton was hired by our court system as a guardian for my children. He spoke to my oldest for 12 minutes, my middle son, 8 minutes, and youngest no more than 5 minutes. He oversees paperwork and is charging thousands of dollars. He told the courts that my son was a "tough nut to crack." We'll, ...after only talking to my son for a few minutes, and could not pick my kids out of a lineup, how could he even understand or know my child. He is very unprofessional. I would never recommend this so-called lawyer to anyone.

This attorney was/ is my parents general, or durable power of attorney. My mother passed away in June of advanced Alzheimer's Disease and I was not notified. I was told it was not his responsibility to do so but the job of the home. Fine. My family was not consulted on where she would be laid to rest..., or even to say a final goodbye. I was also told to sell my fathers plot because he would not be buried where we wished him to be buried and my mother would not be moved to the family plot with her mother, father, sisters and brothers. I thought POA ended at the time of death so how can this be? I do not wish this to happen to anyone else out there.
