Late one night, our client asked a couple who had been drinking to leave his bar for unruly behavior. They refused and attacked him. He defended himself and, ultimately, successfully and safely removed ... them from the bar after he sustained minor injuries when they punched him. Subsequently, they sued him! Laura and Bailey defended him before a civil jury and pursued a cross-claim for his injuries, and won! The jury found our client without fault and ordered the couple to pay him $20,000.00 in compensatory damages and $10,000.00 in punitive damages.
