Client facing 5 years prison with no early release on Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Allegedly drew knife on security guards. After rigorous cross on both security guards, I argued to the j ... ury that if anyone should have been in fear for their lives it was my client! Not the security guards who had guns pointed at client. Jury agreed. Found him Not Guilty of the felonies charged; guilty on a much less serious misdemeanor and let out of jail.

Client charged with Petit Theft and Carrying Concealed Weapon. Case went before a Jury. Despite Judge refusing numerous valid motions, argued to jury for acquittal and won!

Client charged with Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest. Argued Motion to Suppress which first Judge denied. Went to Jury Trial. Conducted first half of trial, then successfull ... y argued to Trial Judge that he should grant a Judgment of Acquittal based on no probable cause for the officer stopping my client to begin with. Trial Judge agreed and granted Acquittal on Felony charge. Client was facing 5 years in prison on the felony! Felony dismissed, and got credit time served [33days] on the Resisting. Big Victory!

Client charged in highest offense with Battery on a Police Officer, punishable by 5 years in prison. Officer testified that he was struck by Client's fist while Officer tried arresting him. Seemed pr ... etty open and shut. But after cross examining the officer, I argued to the jury that the striking of the officer was involuntary and a result of being tossed and turned by the officer himself. Jury agreed!
