OUTCOME: The Court of Appeals upheld our requested restrictions against the father and our use of Skype for trial testimony, setting new legal precedent for Washington State.

Highly contested custody case involving the primary parent/client's relocation to Spain and the opposing party's attempt to fight the relocation and increase his visitation with the children. Of speci ... al note was that the trial court allowed the mother to testify at trial via Skype, which was new for the trial court and an issue of first impression in Washington State. The trial court granted the mother's requests, and the father appealed.

We requested to delegate his residential time to his wife so that the children could remain in the home and r ... equested that further proceedings be put on hold until his return so that he could focus solely on military issues.

Client/father wanted 50/50 custody of the child, while mother wanted primary custody. Mother also wanted child support and a larger portion of the assets.
