This man was court appointed to represent my husband. He spent more time on his fancy mustache than on my husbands case which resulted in my husband being sentenced to life for a crime he didn't commit. When I first spoke with him I thought he was a little strange and rude, but clearly understood wha...t was happening to my husband. He stated this case was ridiculous and based on police fabrication and miss conduct. He said he was doing this and doing that and working on all kinds of stuff. Well, trial came and he did nothing! He was trying to present the fabricated evidence to the jury and put the perjuring cop on the spot, then he realized he didn't have the right photograph. Instead of asking the judge for a moment to get the correct photo, he used the prosecutors evidence (which I hopefully don't need to explain to you why this is wrong). My husband also had an alibi, phone records showing he was on a phone call more than 30 miles away from the crime scene. A fact the jury never knew. After the trial was over, before the verdict came back, he said to me "if you want to file an ineffective assistance of counsel claim, that's fine." Why would he say that unless he knew how ineffective he was. I could go on and on, but incompetent and careless pretty much sums it up.
