Helped a Connecticut family save their farm even though they retained my services after they had lost the foreclosure judgment to the bank. I filed a bankruptcy petition to stop the sale of the proper ... ty that was slated to be sold at auction the next day. Eventually we were able to negotiate a purchase of a portion of the land so that the family could keep their house and farm land while still paying off the mortgage in full.
