A gentlemen was driving a truck and trailer for his employer out-of-state, with no warning whatsoever, the front tire of the truck blew out, and he crashed into a tree. Unfortunately, he fractured his ... foot and tore ligaments in his knees. After multiple surgeries, hospitalizations, and physical therapy, he was able to go back to work. After fighting with the insurance company ,who initially said it was not liable, and hospitals who charged astronomical numbers for the most basic things ($1150 for an ankle X-ray, and $13,500 for a Pelvis CT scan), I negotiated a 6 digit settlement for him.
