Washington was severely injured in a rear end collision. She turned to her auto insurance that she paid religiously for her personal injury protection benefits. When State Farm decided they did want to ... pay her anymore, she was sent to a notorious "cut-off" doctor so he could "examine" her. Shockingly, the doctor on the insurance company's payroll said she was fine. Washington originally hired Other lawyer to handle her case. He ditched her when she refused to take the quick money settlement. After litigating the case on her own for a year, she hired me to take the case to trial. Rather than face me in front of a jury, the insurance company agreed to pay 900% more than their previous best offer.

OUTCOME: Case Dismissed

When Sam first came into my office, he was had just plead guilty to domestic violence. He told me that the attorney his father told him to hire sold him out, and made a bad deal. it wasn't until I read ... the transcripts that I understood how bad it was. The judge had Sam handcuffed and place in a holding cell when he appeared in court that day. His attorney came back to the cell and told him "you've gotta plead guilty today, and waive your trial, or the judge is going to lock you up for 90 days." This was 2 eTa before Christmas, and Sam had a 2 year old daughter. Rather than spending Christmas in the hole, he took the deal, and he was released from custody, only to have a conviction on his record. I exposed the judge's unlawful and unconstitutional actions and Sam was allowed to withdraw his guilty plea. A few weeks later on the first day of the jury trial, the prosecutor dismissed the case. She stated her reason for doing so was because she didn't want me to embarrass her in front of the jury.
