Where police justified the stop of client's vehicle solely by driver's alleged violation of a provision of the Code of Massachusetts Regulations pertaining to the display of a license plate, and which ... resulted in OUI charges. Client's trial attorney filed a Motion to Suppress, which was allowed. Commonwealth appealed. The Jacobs Law LLC represented the defendant in opposition to the Commonwealth's appeal to the Massachusetts Appeals Court, filed briefs and submitted oral arguments. TJL was successful on appeal when MA Appeals Court affirmed the Motion to Suppress. Commonwealth's subsequent request for Further Appellate Review to the MA Supreme Judicial Court was denied in July 2011. After the successful appeal, the charges against the defendant were ultimately dismissed.
