Client stopped by State Police for alleged traffic violation. Subsequent to the traffic stop client is arrested after officer suspects spare tire is loaded with drugs. Search of van and spare tire re ... sults in over 5 pounds of methamphetamine being recovered. Case is dismissed after I file and argue a motion to suppress all evidence based upon the officer illegally stopping my client without any probable cause or other lawful basis.

Couple walk out of Hastings at night after having coffee. Couple claim homeless drunk threatens husband with a knife and then runs. Police arrive almost immediately, suspect still on Hastings propert ... y, suspect refuses to comply with police commands and is shot with a taser. During arrest and search, a knife is found in suspects pocket with the blade extended and locked into position. Jury got to hear the 911 call describing my client's clothing and description and they also get to watch the police taze, arrest, and search my client on the in-car police video.
