He got his payment contract emailed to me quickly, but I felt ghosted after that. Zero communication. Didn't seem to care about talking with me or getting my details about the case. The fine was reduced a little in my case- but nothing like I had hoped for. He never called me after the court tria...l to tell me how it turned out- I had to wait for the letter from the court in the mail to find out how it went. Not a fighter you want for trials- maybe OK for dull court filings though.

I hired jonathan to represent me in court, I had filed all the paperwork all he had to do was basically show up, and fight for my rights. he was late, his physical appearance/dress was unprofessional. To get my review approved I can not say exactly what I would like to describe this experience. He fa...iled in so many ways I would not recommend him to anyone except truly guilty individuals. I did not want to give him 1 star but it would not let me proceed without selecting at least 1.

I strongly advise anyone looking for legal help. Jonathan Shelton is definitely not the attorney. He basically have my freedom away. I had 5 warrants for my arrest. The warrants were for contempt of court. They were misdemeanors. Each one carried 6 months & 1000 dollar fine. A total of five thousan...d. He let the court stick me with a 50.000 dollar bail. Once I found out about the warrants. I hired Shelton & he schedule for me to turn myself in. I went to jail once in jail I could not reach Shelton. When my court hearing came about. He didn't have any paper work I have him about my case. The evidence that could help me. He also came to the holding pin at the courts. Without any kind of legal representation. He tried to get me to plead guilty to 24 months. Then he came back with another offer of 15 months. My charges was for allegedly texting a female. He did not do any kind of investigation on the phone that text her. He came to trial unprepared. I gave him copies of her text messages. I gave him a voice recording. He did nothing except try to have me plead guilty. I went to trial lost & received 22 months. The day my family bail me out. He asked me why didn't I tell him I was out. He also said I should have stayed in jail for a few more days. He was negotiating with the district attorney. Shelton turn me in to the jail. He tried leaving me in jail. He took my money then took me to jail. He's the worst attorney I ever met. Beware of the Shelton firm. I felt like he was the district attorney. I went to trial with everyone against me. Even my own district attorney or lawyer. That was a nightmare for me that day.
