Wendy never gave up and fought for me. At times she even shocked me at how hard she fought. Wendy and her office were helpful, kind, and understanding of my problem. Wendy was always accessible even at night and on weekends, she was always there for me. I suffered through much worry and depression as... my case was going on but Wendy always brought me hope and thanks to her hard work and dedication to my case everything turned out great. I will always remember her and the work she has done for me. If I ever need a lawyer again she is the only one I will ever call. It brings me peace to know she is out there. We finally just found the end of a long, strenuous custody dispute that settled prior to trial with EXACTLY what I asked for in the beginning! When I... first came to Wendy, I was an emotional wreck. As a father, I felt like the underdog but Wendy assured me I would get the fair shake I wanted. She was patient with me...VERY patient. I know that I wasn't the easiest client. I often expected her to treat me like her only client, and although I wasn't, she usually made me feel that way. She was honest, upfront, and set reasonable expectations and a promise to fight for it. She did, and in the end, for all of us, what really matters is the result. I got exactly that. EXACTLY the end result that I wanted from the first day I stepped into her office. I didn't have to compromise one bit in a direction I knew wasn't best for my daughter. I am not affiliated with Wendy Chan in anyway, writing this does nothing for me. I am writing it because it's the least I can do as part of my thank you to her. Both from me and my daughter. Honestly, if you are a parent in a situation like mine, choosing the right attorney may be the most important one of your life. I had the misfortune of facing that horrid monster named divorce and also his brother the false PFA filer. My ex filed 2 false pfa's and I had gone through two lawyers previously but could not achieve the results that I was able to achieve with Wendy. In all my dealings with lawyers I have to say Wendy has restored my faith in honesty in the court room. But aside from her honesty she simply will not be deterred from exposing the truth and I think that she GENUINELY cares about her client's position and that makes her possibly the best lawyer you could ever want to represent you in any court room. Mrs. Chan is a REMARKABLE attorney. She is hands down, the BEST attorney if you are a FATHER seeking more than the 18% of time most attorneys get men. She has a passion for Family Law that far exceeds the several other attorneys I have come across in this realm. Mrs. Chan's desires to get EQUAL cu...stody and promote Fathers being involved in their children's life unequivocally surpasses the most "experienced" attorneys in the field. She is honest, caring, trustworthy, and sincerely cares about building a family for your and your child(ren) even though you are going through the process of separation or divorce. I HIGHLY recommend Mrs. Chan, and as a matter of fact, can not think of anyone else in her league to recommend when it comes to Family Law matters. If you want to spend time with your child, you can't go wrong hiring her. She understands the importance of litigation, is always prepared for court, conducts herself professionally and will not sell you out behind closed doors as other attorneys have done to me. She is not afraid to challenge the "system" and relentlessly pursues custody of your child so that you can remain in your child's life and be there for them more than 1 night a week and every other weekend. If you do not have an attorney, HIRE her, and if you do have an attorney, FIRE the one you have and obtain her. I got burned by someone who claimed to be a "Father's Rights" attorney only to have Mrs. Chan clean up the mess I was left with. In all reality, if it weren't for her...my 20 month old daughter would be calling someone else "daddy."
