Robert William Pontz

I am a shareholder and the chair of Saxton & Stump’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Group, with more than 35 years of experience representing banks, businesses and landlords concerning creditors’ rights, commercial lending and workout arrangements. I specialize in bankruptcy, both in enforcing bankruptcy orders for creditors and helping businesses navigate through a bankruptcy case. I work principally with creditors on claims litigation, relief from stay, exemptions, preferences, and other contested matters. I also have worked with businesses through bankruptcy reorganizations, often in Chapter 11 cases, to help them reorganize and prosper. My experience extends to Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 cases. Before joining Saxton & Stump, I was the cofounder of a central Pennsylvania law firm.
