Kiandra D. Steffy

Kiandra D. Steffy, Esq. practices in the firm’s Labor and Employment, Title IX and Commercial Litigation groups as well as the Internal Investigations group. She has experience with state and federal employment law and provides representation in employment litigation matters where she assists employers in the investigation of allegations of discrimination, harassment and other types of workplace misconduct. Kiandra also represents higher education entities with regard to Title IX matters.

Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Kiandra served as an Associate in the litigation group of a law firm based in Harrisburg, PA where she focused her practice in fiduciary litigation, employment litigation and education law. She previously served as an Assistant City Solicitor with the City of Philadelphia Law Department as well as an arbitrator for the Office of District Court Administration in Lancaster, PA. Kiandra also served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Dennis E. Reinaker.

As a participant of the Clemency Project 2014, which allows non-violent, low-level offenders to receive pro bono representation, Kiandra successfully petitioned for an incarcerated individual to receive a commuted sentence after being granted clemency by former President Barack Obama. She is the first member of the National Bar Association to file a successful petition for clemency.

Kiandra is an active member of the Lancaster community and has served in many leadership roles. She is currently Chair of the Junior Board of Directors for Girls on the Run of Lancaster and is on the Board of Trustees for The New School of Lancaster. Kiandra also volunteers with the Children Deserve a Chance Foundation (Attollo), a Lancasterbased organization founded by her husband that supports the financial, emotional and spiritual development of underprivileged and disabled youth.
