Katy Scarlett Landis

Katy S. Landis, Esq. focuses her practice in commercial litigation and healthcare litigation. She represents doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare providers in medical professional liability cases. She also practices in the area of intellectual property where she assists with trademark and copyright infringement matters.

After graduating from The College at Brockport, State University of New York, with a degree in political science, Katy attended law school at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While there, Katy had the opportunity to intern with the Office of the Attorney General in the Healthcare Division where she was exposed to complex litigation surrounding pharmaceuticals. Katy was also a member of the Phi Kappa Honor Society and served as the Internal Supervising Editor to the Widener Law Journal.

Katy began her career clerking for the Honorable Richard K. Renn of the York County Court of Common Pleas. In that position, she assisted in drafting several published opinions. Prior to joining Saxton & Stump, Katy was an Assistant Public Defender in York County where she gained extensive courtroom experience.
