Haley Marie Walker

I am an associate in the Saxton & Stump Healthcare Litigation and Commercial Litigation groups. I work to defend hospitals, healthcare systems, physicians and professionals in cases of medical malpractice. At a previous firm working in medical malpractice defense, I drafted pleadings for both state and federal court, prepared legal research memorandums regarding medical malpractice defense, drafted and sent appeals regarding administrative agency decisions and participated in client meetings.
Before starting my career, I was a summer associate at a law firm in Erie and was a summer intern for the Hon. Stephanie L. Haines in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. As an intern for the judge, I researched and wrote a memorandum on The Speedy Trial Act, The Right to a Speedy Trial and The Gist of the Action Doctrine.
