G. William Bartholomew

Will Bartholomew is a senior counsel member of the Saxton & Stump Commercial Litigation and Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring groups in the firm’s Lancaster office. He represents secured and unsecured creditors, trustees, businesses, and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial disputes and insolvency matters. Will has extensive experience guiding clients through all stages of litigation — from strategy development and motion practice to trial — and has served as lead counsel in both state and federal court.

Before joining Saxton & Stump, Will practiced at two litigation-focused law firms in New York City, where he represented financial institutions, closely held businesses, start-ups, and individuals in commercial litigation, government investigations, and high-stakes trust and estates matters. His track record includes prevailing in a bench trial concerning trust assets, defending against breach of fiduciary duty claims, and successfully pursuing breach of contract claims.

Will earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from New York Law School, where he served as editor-in-chief of the New York Law School Law Review and received several academic and writing honors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in world politics from Hamilton College and studied abroad in Nairobi, Kenya.
