David Robert Campbell Jr.

I am a senior counsel attorney in Saxton & Stump’s Corporate Healthcare and Life Sciences and Business and Corporate groups. I have 30 years of experience representing medical professionals and healthcare businesses in corporate and regulatory matters, as well as other clients in corporate and commercial real estate matters. Before I joined Saxton & Stump, I founded and operated David R. Campbell & Associates in Lancaster for nearly 20 years.
I counsel healthcare clients like physicians, dentists, other licensed health care providers and ambulatory surgery centers on the corporate aspects of operating a healthcare business. That includes everything from drafting shareholder documents –and dealing with shareholder disputes – to transactional work like buying and selling healthcare practices, dental practice transitions and other practice succession arrangements, and structuring physician/hospital joint ventures.
Outside of the healthcare industry, I work with businesses on formation, financing, succession planning, employment and independent contractor agreements, and mergers and acquisitions. I also help clients with the leasing, sale, purchasing and financing of commercial real estate.
Since 1997, I have been involved with the Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development, a Lancaster County-based provider of physical, occupational and speech therapy and other services to children and young adults. I am a member of the board of directors, its current board development committee chair, a past chair of the board and have served on numerous other board committees.
