Dargan v. Tankersley, 380 S.C. 480, 671 S.E.2d 73 (2008)
Dec 22, 2008OUTCOME: Successful appeal of adverse ruling against Client
Neighboring property owners disputed who held valid title to 27 acres lying between their two properties in Northern Greenville County, SC. The circuit court ruled against my client, Dargan, and found ... that Tankersley had superior title. In appealing the circuit court's order to the South Carolina Supreme Court on behalf of Dargan, I successfully argued that Dargan did have superior title to the property. The South Carolina Supreme Court reversed the circuit court and my client was declared to be the lawful owner of the 27 acre tract.
