After a bench trial, the court found Judgment in favor for Global Accents’ counterclaim for breach of contract claim against World Market Center and awarded attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses. Employee appealed from both orders. Supreme Court upheld that the issuance of the preliminary injunction was appropriate pursuant to contractual restrictive covenants and the Uniform Trade Secret Act; however, remand was necessary to determine whether former employer's contracts, customer lists, process, and prices remained protected as trade secrets. If so, further findings were necessary as to how long Finkel should be restrained from deriving a commercial advantage from his misappropriation.
