Client was arrested for DUI. Police reported conducting under cover "sting" operation in which they claim they watched client in bar drinking. Client was arrested after leaving bar and driving car aw ... ay. Police claimed client refused chemical test and video taped client in what they described as angry, drunken rage. Charges Dismissed.

Insurance Company Capitulates on Eve of Trial

OUTCOME: Plaintiff recovery of $297k.

Personal Injury case involving $19k in medical bills with pain and suffering. Insurance company offers $90k, then $130k, refusing to settle for plaintiff's demand of $300k calling said demand "ridicul ... ous and unreasonable". On advice of Mr. Woelfel client chose to proceed to trial. Within days of trial insurance company capitulates resulting in $297k settlement.
