We represented the Defendants, a private school and its administrator. Plaintiff a former teacher sued the Defendants for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, breach of implied con ... tract, and breach of written contract. Plaintiff alleged that she was falsely accused of child abuse and then terminated based on that false charge in violation of a written contract. She also complained that the defamation was used as a basis not to offer her future contracts, in violation of an implied contract of continued employment. Plaintiff demanded $2.4 million dollars in damages for defamation, emotional distress and future lost wages. She also requested $4,400 in unpaid salary and benefits
