Client vs. First American Home Warranty
May 01, 2014OUTCOME: Insurance paid $7063 after initially offering $1700
Client had an expensive stovetop that stopped working. After working with the insurance company directly and being passed around from one representative to another, the client hired me. The Law Offic ... e of Dana Leigh Ozols zealously advocated for the client, pointing out that the insurance company used a repairman rather than a contractor, who was not authorized or trained on this particular Gaggeneau brand of stove top, and could not properly diagnose the until despite taking it out of the home for more than 5 weeks. Ultimately, my clients received $7063 for the replacement stovetop.
