One of Petri's favorite cases is one in which he sued the State of Indiana for the negligence in building a curve on I-70. The way in which it was built caused 13 deaths, including the husband of one ... of his clients. He used several experts to prove his case, won a settlement for his client, and forced the State to rebuild the curve to eliminate the hazard.
