The West Edge project was a $100 million multi-use development in Kansas City's prestigious Plaza area. A dispute arose between the contractor and the owner that led to the contractor walking off the ... project, after which the owner filed bankruptcy. We represented the lender in the bankruptcy, during which the validity, amount and priority of around 20 mechanic's liens were litigated.
