Chiropractor (client) was accused of negligence in the form of Vertebral Artery Dissection (i.e., a small tear in the inner lining of one of the blood vessels which course up both sides of the back of ... the neck and supply blood to the base and back of the brain), Stroke (and resulting brain damage to the cerebellum, left occipital lobe, and left thalamus). After nearly two weeks of trial and deliberating for approximately five hours on February 3rd and 4th, 2011, the jury returned a verdict of “no negligence” in Dr. Jonasson’s favor.
