Mr Leak was detained by an officer even though he had not done anything wrong. The officer kept Mr. Leak stopped on the side of the road while he checked Mr. Leak's license. Attorney Crawford argued t ... hat this was a violation of Mr. Leak's right not to be "seized" or detained illegally and that any evidence found based on this act should not be admitted. The Court of Appeals agreed that this seizure was unconstitutional!
