The mother in this case, who was the opposing party, had relocated to Alabama to live with her husband and other children. The mother was seeking for the Court to enter an Order requiring that the mino ... r child at issue in this case relocate with her to Alabama,. Our client, who was the father, objected to her request and wanted child to remain in NC. In 2014, after two full days of trial, the Mecklenburg County District Court Judge entered a Court Order in our client’s favor requiring that his son, the minor child, remain with our client in the State of North Carolina. Thereby granting him primary physical and legal custody.
