Sharon Eileen Myers

Sharon E. Myers served as the firm's president from 1996 through 2012 and she has been practicing law for more than thirty years. Her strong leadership skills allow her to pull together client service teams effortlessly, drawing on the resources of other disciplines, such as employment, labor, and public finance. Her current practice focuses on estate planning and administration, municipal law and real estate transactions.

Sharon has extensive experience in representing townships, boroughs, sewer authorities and other public agencies in all areas of municipal law. She routinely drafts ordinances, resolutions, contracts and advises council members and elected and appointed officials and employees in matters such as open meeting laws, planning, zoning, and other land use issues, economic development, personnel and other matters.

Sharon is a long-time resident of East Berlin, concentrating her practice in the western part of York County and also Adams County. She has a keen understanding of both the legal issues and the cultural concerns of her clients. She is particularly sensitive to the trends that have begun to change and affect this once primarily rural area. Land development and the strain on public systems and resources is a primary concern for Sharon. She is adept in helping her clients find solutions to burning issues that affect their communities and their constituents.
