Ronald Lee Hershner

Ron is a shareholder in the Saxton & Stump Business and Corporate and Real Estate groups, working with his clients on business transactions, estate and business planning, and commercial real estate acquisitions, leasing, and finance. With more than four decades of experience, he represents both lenders and borrowers in financing transactions, and also counsels clients on business entity organization, reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, and dissolution issues. He has presented statewide seminars on business succession planning, real estate, and title insurance law.

Ron came to Saxton & Stump in 2025 from the longtime York law firm Stock & Leader, where he was the managing partner from 2011 to 2021, and then again at the time its attorneys joined Saxton & Stump.

The Central Penn Business Journal named Ron to its “Power 100” list for five consecutive years, most recently March 2025. This list recognizes individuals who inspire innovation, spark economic growth, and make decisions in their positions that shape the communities and influence quality of life. Ron is also an accomplished author, having written four books about York County history.
