Michael J. Hinkle

A founding member of TBH&E, Mike has a wide-ranging background in complex litigation. An experienced litigator, Mike has successfully represented numerous individuals, businesses and insurance carriers at trial, arbitration and mediation.

Mike received his B.A. from Washington College in 1998 where he was a Captain of the varsity baseball team and earned his law degree from the Rutgers University School of Law in 2001. Prior to entering private practice, Mike spent a year as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul T. Koenig, Jr. and the Honorable Charles A. Delehey in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Following his clerkship, Mike spent a number of years as a senior attorney at a prominent Defense Litigation Law Firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before moving his practice of law to Maryland in 2011. Prior to founding TBH&E, Mike was senior counsel for a national insurance company specializing in the entertainment and hospitality industries.

Mike is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he has been admitted to practice pro hac vice in numerous jurisdictions throughout the country. In 2010, Mike was selected by his peers as a Rising Star of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers®, a distinction awarded to only 2.5 percent of all attorneys under the age of 40.
