Client was passenger in vehicle that was overturned by a fallen light pole which had been struck by an unknown phantom vehicle just minutes earlier. No coverage available from phantom vehicle. Intego ... n/GMAC, carrier for the vehicle she was in, denied coverage based on the no contact rule. In summary judgment motion, I argued that there was a string of contact between the phantom, which struck the pole, and the pole, which caused my client's injuries.
