Annie R. Gomez

I am a former client of Attorney Annie Gomez. When she left James K. Reed's firm, I was unable to follow her due to my trust fund with the firm. Annie gave me legal advice on my child custody issues and was my attorney while she was with James K. Reed. Although I wanted to stay out of court, we did h...ave to go. Although it wasn't exactly what I wanted, she negotiated and my ex-husband didn't get exactly what he wanted either. I believe Annie is very personable, fights for her client skillfully, and does her research to try to persuade the opposing client/attorney and/or judge.

I first made contact with Annie when she was working for another Law Firm about 2 years ago. I had been going through a terrible custody dispute with my ex-wife and I was clueless as to what I was entitled to under the law. Annie was able to educate me on my rights as a father and gave me several ave...nues to pursue when dealing with my ex-wife in court. I immediately felt at ease after my initial consultation and made the decision of retaining Annie as my Attorney. Our first appearance in court went exactly how I expected. We won!! With Annie's knowledge of the Law, I was able to obtain a fair amount of custody of my two boys and set stipulations in the custody order that put emphasis on the best interest of the children. Annie later decided to open her own Law Firm. She contacted me to give me the option of having my case referred to another Attorney in the firm she was working for at the time. Naturally, I opted for staying with Annie. I have had several more appearances in court for custody and child support and we have come out victorious every single time. During this whole ordeal, Annie always kept me informed with everything that was going on with my case. Even though I am one of many clients, she always made me feel like I was her only one. Annie was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had and I could tell that she had spent many hours preparing for my case when we appeared in court. She is compassionate and understanding and will do everything in her power to achieve the results that one needs, she did for me. The happiness I share with my kids today I owe to Annie. Without her expertise, I don’t think I would be in the position I am right now. I am fortunate to have such an outstanding Attorney in my corner. I highly recommend her!
