The client was charged with trafficking cocaine. 60 grams of cocaine were located in his car. He was also charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. At a motion to suppress the ... officers claimed that the client was free to go and the stop was consensual. After a thorough cross examination of the arresting officers and direct testimony from an eye witness the court found the search a violation of Mr. Maloof's client's fourth amendment rights. The charges were dismissed. The client faced a minimum of ten years in prison. He walked out of the court room that day.

The client was charged with trafficking methamphetamine. She had an accident and the police were called. During an inventory search of her vehicle the police found over 70 grams of methamphetamine in ... her purse. She had a passenger in the car with large amounts of cash on his person. Mr. Maloof was able to convince the State to drop the trafficking and drug charges on an equal access argument as well as an unlawful search of her private property. Client was facing a minimum 10 years in jail and plead to her suspended license and following too closely. She received credit for 30 days in custody and her case was closed.

After Mr. Maloof conducted an investigation in the case it was revea ... led the victim had falsely reported another crime. A witness was located that destroyed the State's case. Mr. Maloof insisted on a nolle pros rather than a dead docket. Eventually the Assitant District Attorney dismissed the case with a nolle pros banning any future litigation and all charges were dismissed. The client was facing life in prison if convicted on the kidnapping charge.

The client was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated, stalking, 3 counts cruelty to children, domestic violence battery, and possession of cocaine. After a week long trail with pictures of the v ... ictim showing several injuries, and two disturbing 911 calls in which the victim screamed for mercy, I was able to show her stories were not consistent with the accounts given to the police depart. I also showed she had attacked my client in the past. The jury deliberated for two day and found my client not guilty on all charges except the possession of cocaine a charge he had two prior convictions on before trial. The client was sentenced to 5 years probation. He was facing over fifty years in prison.

The police entered the client’s home and charged her with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute Xanax, and possession of marijuana. Client admitted to poss ... ession of marijuana, plead to a misdemeanor marijuana charge and is on probation. The other charges were dismissed based on an equal access argument. In a separate case, this same client was charged with two counts of reckless conduct, a hit and run, and evading and eluding when it was alleged the passenger in her car got out and kicked another person’s vehicle. The client then allegedly drove off and ran through two red lights with two children in her car. After a discussion with the prosecutor, the client was allowed to plead to one count of reckless driving.
