Easing our fears with her expertise.

Bankruptcy is frightening. Tracy made it bearable. She was straight forward, easy to interact with, and did an outstanding job. She has a friendly demeanor, vast knowledge of the law, and a genuine desire to do well for her clients. Tracy laid it all out for us right from the start. She let us kno...w what we needed and gave us time to gather the information. Her examination of our records was thorough and we were astounded at how much time and energy she devoted to us in the free consultation. Afterwards, we had a secure feeling of where we were and what we wanted to do. Throughout the process, Tracy kept us informed. She also handled our multiple questions with prompt and helpful responses. She maintained a casual and highly competent manner. Not once did we ever feel judged or mislead by her. Having a pleasant personality, superior communication skills, and outstanding competence makes Tracy a top-notch attorney! Filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is gut-wrenching. Tracy took a lot of the uneasiness out of the experience. We’re thankful for her excellent work and happily recommend her services.

Need a Bankruptcy Attorney in Central Pennsylvania? Look no futher!

I'd start off by saying that I'm not a fan of most attorneys. I've been fleeced over custody battles, and the like----which helped lead me straight into a bankruptcy. I talked with a handful of attorneys before meeting Tracy...and not one of them passed the "smell test." Enter Tracy Updike. W...hen I sat down with Tracy, it was obvious that she knew what she was doing, and genuinely cared about me and my situation (the caring was very important to me). A bankruptcy is a life-changing event, and one that nobody can feel good about. I was so stressed out financially and emotionally, but not so much AFTER our initial consult. As time went on, I knew I had made the right decision. To say that Tracy is diligent, would be an understatement. How many attorneys do YOU know that reply to emails, pretty much 24 hours a day? Tracy is one of them, and I don't know how she does it. Tracy doesn't just say what you want to hear...she will be brutally honest, if necessary. And most importantly, she DOES what she SAYS. I still consult her as needed, and never hesitate to refer her to those I care about. She also handled some financial issues for my mother, and quite well, may I add. My mother thinks very highly of her as well and likened Tracy to "a breath of fresh air." Bottom line, I can't say enough positive things about her...other than if I owned a law firm, I'd do everything in my power to steal her from whomever is lucky enough to have her onboard. THIS is the kind of attorney you want in your corner. I wouldn't even consider hiring someone else in the Harrisburg area, as it pertains to bankruptcy law. True story: One of my neighbors hired another attorney/firm to handle his chapter 7. I (strongly) recommended Tracy, he chose to save less than $100 by going with somebody else. To this day, he regrets that decision. EVERYTHING was messed up in his paperwork...things not declared that should have been, he wasn't returning emails and/or phone calls promptly. Don't make the same mistake as he did. You want this done correctly, and I would think you want your questions and concerns addressed promptly. Intelligent, punctual, caring, respectful, diligent, honest, passionate. Just a few words I would use to describe Tracy. Good luck!
