Biography
The practice of law has been consuming me for as long as I can remember. I went into law because I really wanted to help people. I began to focus on representation of physicians after countless nights by the bedside of Rachel, my oldest daughter, at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I got to know a lot of the Attendings and Fellows at CHOP on a personal basis. I was representing physicians and other healthcare entities before Rachel was born, but her birth was a watershed for me. In 1989 I decided that I would concentrate my practice on representing physicians. It’s not really an adequate payback for her life, but it is a start.
